Land Title Survey
An ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey follows the standards as provided by the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys are usually used for closing purposes.
Subdivision Plats
A Plat is required by municipalities when trying to develop if not previously platted. Plats may also be required if you are trying to split up your land. Although each city or county has different requirements, Traverse has pushed a plat through over 150 different cities throughout the state of Texas to help folks get to their end goal.
Plats are not the same thing as a traditional survey and are generally only used for the legal recordation through the County.
